Art and science
the art a scientist creates and the science that an artist develops

While choosing my subjects I found the bridge between the arts and science which people tend to ignore. The resolution of this difference, I think is very well portrayed by astronomy.
If we think about it the use of imagination that takes place in both the fields is immaculate. A very renounced theory of contra-factual idea is adopted by science. This theory describes things that could be true that don't violate any law of nature, but are not apparently true, things that we don't actually observe but could be true. From this we can say that science has its roots in imagination just like art. Any form of art can never and will never be portrayed if the artist didn't use imagination, if the artist never went beyond the boundaries of today's world, if the artist didn't have any vision.
Vision in itself plays a very important role you know, it's how we learn about the universe, record and write about it. It's the way we see things, our eyes, where the beauty lies. But it is important to see the world as it is which we learn through science but to make it our own is what we learn through art. The drive of curiosity leads us to discover new things, and we create it with the vision in our heart.
Discovery is what leads to invention, exploration. The way we discover new things in science it's the same way we explore new things in art. Take for example Newton's rainbow and Michealangelo's art. The search for patterns in science is yet another example.
Science isn't just about equations it relies on creativity to uncover new aspects of the universe just like art. Astronomy teaches us about the universe, it connects different elements hence redefines our way of thinking, just like it did now.
